WELCOME
Kingsbridge area childminders offer a wide range of learning opportunities within a home based environment. We all have something different to offer to suit differing needs of children and families looking for childcare.
We care for small numbers of children in our home giving the advantage of a homely caring environment and the ability to offer strong relationships and individual attention to young children, who are perhaps spending time away from mum or dad for the first time.
We can also offer before and after school care and holiday care for older children enabling siblings to spend time together.
As Ofsted registered childcarers we are all DBS checked (as are our partners / husbands and any adult children that live in our home.) We have paediatric first aid training, safeguarding training and insurance, so you know your child is in the safest environment.
In addition to a well-resourced home learning environment we can offer trips to the park and other outings.

I'm a newly registered childminder. I live in Kingsbridge with my partner Sean and daughter Lucy. We live in a quiet area just a 5 minute walk from Kingsbridge Primary and St Malo Playgroup. Our home offers a dedicated play area stocked full of fun games, puzzles, crafts and books as well as a secure outside play area. I enjoy being outdoors, swimming, cooking and days out! One cat, two rabbits and four fish. Visits to toddler groups, library, parks, beach, zoo, woodlands and walks. Registered childminder since 2007.
I am a qualified primary teacher (I taught for 17 years) with the recent addition of Early Years Teacher Status I started childminding in 2011. I have a 'Good' Ofsted rating in all areas. I have 2 young children of my own and a fish. We don't stay at home much, we like to go to groups, meet other childminders, go to playgroup, the zoo, the farm, go on walks, or to the beach or stay at home to play in my huge garden. 17 years experience and like the children to feel it is home from home. Smallholding near West Alvington. A large, safe garden and also fields surrounding. As a matter of routine the children see poultry hatched in the summer and progress to adulthood. They help to feed them (if they wish) and also get involved in gardening and growing veg. Large garden and facilities. No pets. Registered since 2011 with 'Good' Ofsted rating. I have 2 boys of my own. I believe in lots of outdoor play and experiences to enhance the children's learning and development. I am able to accept childcare vouchers.
